MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIRMAN
On February 27, at this critical juncture for Leadership
100 and our beloved Church, the Executive Committee
with the consensus of the Board of Trustees, elected Rev.
Protopresbyter Panagiotis Papazafiropoulos as Executive
Director of Leadership 100. He will officially take office
on June 1, 2026. We are indebted to our current
Executive Director, Paulette Poulos, for recommending
him and grateful that she will stay on as Senior Advisor
for a transitional period to familiarize him with our
operations.

Dear Members,
Christos Anesti!
I am pleased to greet you with heartfelt gratitude and
humility as Chairman of Leadership 100. Installed at our
35th Annual Leadership 100 Conference, which took
place on February 5-8, 2026, at the JW Marriott Phoenix
Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona, I was
joined by my fellow officers, Emanuel Cotronakis, our
Legal Counsel and Vice Chairman, Justin Bozonelis,
after seven years as Chairman of the Grant Committee
and fifteen years of service on that committee, as
Treasurer, and Maria Allwin, who resumed her role as
Secretary.
My predecessor, Demetrios G. Logothetis, served as
Chairman of Leadership 100 for two terms, a total of four
years, during which time I served as Vice Chairman. He
led us with distinction and honor, and we are grateful for
his service.

The Conference saw three days of momentous events. In
an initial significant action, the Executive Committee
approved $6,510,700 for 42 new and prior year grants for
the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese and affiliated
institutions, from the outstanding recommendations by
the Grant Committee. Upon distribution, total grants by
Leadership 100 since its founding will reach a historic
$89,355,203. Growth in our grants is a sure sign of the
vitality of Leadership 100 and the commitment of our
members to our mission and purpose.
In these pages, we review the events of our Conference,
which can be viewed on our website at www.l100.org or
on YouTube/TheLeadership100, along with an article on
my new role based on my interview by the Orthodox
Observer, news of our members, our grants at work, and
the celebration of Greek Independence at the White
House.
Leadership 100 has always been an integral part of my
life since I was young. My involvement at an early age
motivated me to seek out others to reinstate the Young
