MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIRMAN
Dear Members,
We begin 2025 with renewed hope
and promise as we transition to new
staffing, new offices, and a newly
inspired campaign to increase our
portfolio and our profile. We
concluded the celebration of our
40th Anniversary in 2024 and now
we embark upon future decades of
growth and achievement in fulfilling
our mission.
With the approval of our Board of
Trustees, I am collaborating with our
dynamic Executive Director Paulette
to launch the Leadership 100 +
(Plus) Fund in 2025 with the goal of
establishing a significant
discretionary fund.
We have secured new offices at
Rockefeller Center with
sufficient space for additional
staff for the future. Further
announcements will be made at our
34th Leadership 100 Annual
Conference in Orlando, Florida, at
The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande
Lakes, in Orlando, Florida, which
will take place February 20-23, 2025.
The speakers at the upcoming
Conference include Col. Matthew
Bogdanos, Chief, Antiquities
Trafficking Unit, New York District
Attorney’s Office; Harry Psaros Sr.,
Executive Neuroscience Specialist
and Author; Nick Katsoris, Founder,
President and Executive Director,
The Loukoumi Make a Difference
Foundation; Alexis Christoforous,
ABC News Correspondent; and Eva
Konstantakos, Director, Youth &
Young Adult Ministries, Greek
Orthodox Archdiocese of America.
In addition to our Conference
program and news of our members,
this issue of The Leader includes a
number of articles on our grants,
which demonstrate the fulfillment of
our mission to support the National
Ministries and Institutions of the
Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of
America.
We remain especially indebted to our
visionary Spiritual leader, His
Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros,
who has guided us in staying true to
the legacy of our Founder,
Archbishop Iakovos, in advancing
Orthodoxy and Hellenism in
America.
With wishes for a Blessed New Year
and good health and happiness
for you and your family,
Demetrios G. Logothetis
Chairman
