Hellenic College Holy Cross Awarded Grant
for Online Master of Theological Studies
and Master of Theology Degrees
Leadership 100 awarded Hellenic College $100,000 to
help develop its new online program for the Master of
Theological Studies and Master of Theology Degrees and
to increase enrollment. The Director of Online and
Continuing Education implemented improvements and
enhanced course offerings.
The MTS program has improved through enhanced
technological support, better faculty preparation, and
stronger alignment with our institutional mission.
HCHC has also addressed student engagement by
implementing orientation courses, hiring additional
admissions, and marketing staff, offering synchronous
meetings with professors, and improving access to digital
resources and library databases.
HCHC also paid faculty subject matter experts to
develop online classes of the highest quality using a
rigorous quality review process before initiating
payment. Finally, funds from this grant assisted with
membership fees for NC-SARA, the state authorization
association that allows us to enroll students from around
the country.
Increased Enrollment.
